Worldwide, blueberry is a very popular product. In recent years the production of blueberries also increased and with the bigger production a good grading of the different sizes also becomes more important. A company that is specialized in processing fruits and vegetables is Zhengzhou First Industry, they have a processing line for all kinds of different fruits and vegetables. They also designed a processing line that works especially well for blueberries. This sorting line is very popular now, as Jason of Zhengzhou First Industry states:

“Currently we are one of the few companies worldwide that developed a grading machine for blueberries on our own and passed patent certification for it. We receive many  requests for this machine. Most of the requests we receive now are from Europe, where our machine is very popular now. Though this grading line is mostly used by the smaller producers than by big companies. Big companies mostly will make use of complete sorting line, but for the smaller producers, it is a very convenient machine. Our machines have a low price, low space consumption, low power consumption, low noise, flexible movement, simple operation and is very safe. It is easy to maintain and can be easily used by most blueberry growers.”

“Our blueberry machine makes use of the drum grading technology to sort the different size of blueberries. The drum inside the machine has different sizes of holes, which will start with the smallest size and ends in the biggest size. According to the diameter of fruit, the machine can accurately sort the fruit into different grades to meet the different needs of consumers.”

“Our equipment is customizable to the customer's needs. The length of the conveyor belt at the feed, the height of the machine, and the diameter of the holes in each drum are tailored to the customer's requirements. We test the roller of the machine several times before use. Each roller is processed by professional equipment and then manually polished by technicians 2 to 3 times to ensure that there are no edges and corners. After passing the professional test, it can be put into use. In this way, we can ensure that the drum does not damage the fruit, but just sort it. ”

“Besides this drum technology, we also have roller grading, the gaps between the roller pipes increase gradually in the process of belts, and the fruits drop from gaps from small to large size. Gaps can be adjusted according to diameters required and the speed of the machine is adjustable. Our last sorting machine is an electronic weighing device that automatically weighs the fruit and varies it according to the weight of each fruit. Besides the weight, roller and drum grading machine, we also have washing and cleaning machines. This machine can be used for multiple fruits, like , potatoes, apples, oranges, dates, pears and passion fruit, there are a lot of different possibilities for this, since we customize every machine for that certain product.”

“Grading lines that are very popular now are the ones for blueberries, but our avocado line is also very popular. Especially in Kenya they like our washing and grading machines. We have expanded quickly in the last few years in Europe, I think that has also to do with the close relations China and Europe are building, like the One Belt One Road initiative. We always ship our equipment to the destination countries, to Europe it takes about 25 days before it arrives. When it arrives, it is easy to put the parts together and there is no difficult installation set up. People interested in our sorting lines are very welcome to contact us at the contact details below.”
