In March the Company completed the acquisition of Sustainable Origins. This notable acquisition is part of Forza Innovations’ ongoing strategic plan for future revenue and expansion. Sustainable Origins based in Charlotte, North Carolina provides a clean, sustainable, and eco-friendly future through the recycling of used cooking oil collected from restaurants, casinos, sporting arenas and food processing plants. Used Cooking Oil collected is ultimately sold to companies producing Biodiesel, an efficient replacement to dirty fossil fuels for a greener future.
Forza acquired 100% of the shares of Sustainable in exchange for 600,000 shares of the Company, a cash payment of $17,000 and the payment of certain initial expenses, thereby making Sustainable a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company. The two former sole shareholders, who were the sole officers and directors of Sustainable, will stay on to lead Sustainable. Alexander Mackenzie Stone will be Sustainable’s President and Aloysius Keith Callaghan will be Sustainable’s Chief Executive Officer. Johnny Forzani, our President, has been elected a director of Sustainable along with Mr. Callaghan.
Sustainable Origins has recently commenced a digital marketing campaign with LinkedIn targeting restaurant owners, general managers, operation managers and restaurant group chief executive officers. It is also onboarding with the DeAlva Wilson Agency, which connects larger firms to businesses to facilitate vendor diversity. A platform called supplier gateway will allow this agency to liaison connections to grow our client base.
Sustainable Origins is also upgrading equipment to install Blue Rover Ai tank sensors in the customers oil storage tanks. These sensors will notify the Company how full each customer tank is so pickups can be scheduled with better precision and eliminate the need for the restaurants to call when the tanks become full. This will give Sustainable Origins a competitive advantage as most of our competitors who are not utilizing this technology.
