Following its recent multi-vertical deal for the Brazilian market and Pragmatic Play is turning up the heat in its latest slot release, Striking Hot 5. Offering a fresh take on a classic fruit machine, this high volatility slot is played across 5×3 reels and just 5 paylines, while the RTP is 96.29 percent and the max win is 5000x.

Gameplay is straightforward here and players can bet between £0.05 and £100. There are a total of 7 pay symbols, and winning combinations pay from left to right on adjacent reels starting from the far left side.

In ascending value, there are watermelons, which is the only symbol that pays from two-of-a-kind, lemons, cherries and grapes. These lower value symbols are worth up to 44x the bet for landing five-of-a-kind, while oranges and apples pay up to 104x the stake, and the high paying red sevens are worth the most, paying 1,000x the bet for five-of-a-kind.

And while there are no Wilds in Striking Hot 5, you will find Dollar Scatters that pay from anywhere on the reels for 3-5 of a kind and are worth up to 50x the bet.

As with most classic fruit slots, what you see is what you get, so don’t expect anything out of the norm in what the developer is calling a “modernised upgrade to a retro-inspired classic.”

The new spinner joins other recently released hits such as Black Bull, Greedy Wolf and Gorilla Mayhem, each of which are part of Pragmatic Play’s fast-growing collection of 250-plus titles in its games portfolio.

In addition to turning out new slots at the speed of sound, the Malta-based online casino software developer has also further expanded its LatAm reach after partnering with Brazilian sports betting and iGaming operator, CtrPixBet.

The multi-vertical agreement includes Pragmatic Play’s Slots, Live Casino and Virtual Sports collections. And gives the operator access to a diverse range of titles such as the four-game Fire Hot series, Down The Rails and player favorite classics like Fruit Party, along with the Greek Mythology-themed video slot that has won the provider multiple Game of the Year awards,  Gates of Olympus.

Also making their way to CtrPixBet’s front lobby are blackjack and roulette classics, as well as the innovative Boom City, alongside Greyhound Racing, Horse Racing and Steeplechase versions from the provider’s Virtual Sports suite, each with market-leading real-time 3D graphics.

Pragmatic Play has made significant strides in the country that has become a crucial part of its growth strategy as it continues to bolster its position in the LatAm region. The provider has inked similar deals with leading operators for their Brazil-based online enterprises, such as with sports betting and online casino services provider, Chutebet, along with Deu Jogo and others.
